recycled cabin in Vermont

Small Cabin built from hand-me-downs, trash, and yard-sales.

Working just on the weekends two young brothers (18 and 22) are building an off grid cabin from scratch.  This is NOT a full-time home and only passes code in Vermont because it is not, but they even hold seminars in their cabin for others who want to know how they did it.

Certainly a lot here to spark some creativity ideas, including how they expanded the stove flu to increase the heating in the cabin.  A definite must for Vermont!

I like how they built the walls through panels they could transport up to the property in the back of their station wagon.  Watch the video and then feel free to comment.
