The “30-Foot House” For A Family of Three
Small, but Not Skimpy
Today at Off Grid Insights, we have another treat of a tiny house to show you all. Today’s tiny house was built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses.
The house built into a 30-foot trailer. The truly impressive thing, though, is that this is built for a family of three…and possibly soon to become four.
According to the company’s blog post, “The program requirements were pretty grand: 30 feet or longer, two lofts, a bedroom, a murphy bed, full size appliances, a full size tub/shower, stairs, A/C, LOTS of storage, an electic mix of gingerbread traditional, and rustic modern.”
But that’s not all – there’s a lot MORE to see in the video tour of the completed home!
See how they built in a lot of collapsable table space, including having a “hidden sink,” of sorts! The house fits good quality appliances (The client “did not want to skimp” on appliances) and a mini-tub that is barely big enough for a normal-sized adult. It’s great if you’re a little smaller, and/or if you have kids. They have a view from the shower.
The lofts are neat to look at as well. Even the secondary loft fits a queen-sized bed. Stay to the end to see their main loft, with a king-sized bed. The main loft has two entrances, and one of those entrances even has a door!
