School Teacher builds Tiny House using 80% Salvage

It All Started Because He “Wanted a Project”

Here at Off Grid Insights, we love tiny houses and the thought and love that goes into them.  Today, we have an example of a project started between a teacher and his friend when they were looking for a project, and ended up creating a place that he could live.

They “started with a recycled RV trailer that we got for about $300.”  In the end, it cost them about $17,000 to build overall. They built it with an orientation in mind, and lots of view to the outside on one side of the house.

And perhaps the best part, they were able to make the house out of mostly salvaged materials!  Check it out in the video below.
